This Victron 500A IP65 VS series SmartShunt is a high-precision battery shunt designed to expertly measure vital charging and performance data for your batteries. With its IP65 rating, it is fully protected against dust ingress and resistant to low-pressure water jets, making it ideal for outdoor and marine applications. This smart model features advanced functions such as Bluetooth communication, a secondary input for optional monitoring of an auxiliary battery bank, and an extremely low current draw from the battery bank (0.7Ah per month for a 12V system). Key statistics—including battery voltage, charge/discharge current, Amp Hours consumed, state of charge, and time-to-go—can be viewed and settings adjusted via the inbuilt Bluetooth using any Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
