Description
This Victron Energy Lynx Shunt, part of the Lynx distribution system, contains a positive busbar with a designated space for a main system fuse, and negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring, rated at 1000A (nominal current rating).
The Lynx Shunt contains the system’s main fuse and is designed to hold a CNN fuse (up to 325A, not included) on the positive busbar. The fuse mounting studs are M8 with 63 mm spacing between centers. While the shunt is specifically designed for CNN fuses, other fuse types that fit these dimensions may also be compatible.
For larger or more complex systems, an additional busbar piece is supplied. This optional piece allows you to replace the internal fuse with an external one, giving you the flexibility to mount the main fuse in a different location. The external busbar supports higher-rated fuses, including CNN fuses (35A to 800A), ANL fuses, or Mega fuses.
The Lynx Shunt continuously monitors the fuse, and if it blows, the power LED turns red and an alarm message is automatically sent to the connected GX device.
